V’s Lounge in Highams Park

V’s Lounge in Highams Park, 2026/27 Good Food Award winner – Blue Ribbon.

V’s Lounge is a clear illustration of how a passionate local business can evolve to become a genuine neighbourhood anchor. What began as V’s Burgers on Hale End Road has successfully transitioned into a stylish Mediterranean-inspired bar and grill. By day the space works as a relaxed neighbourhood café serving quality coffee; by night it shifts into a welcoming lounge with cocktails, grill dishes and a lively yet unpretentious atmosphere.

The menu reflects that journey, blending the original street-food comfort with Mediterranean grill cooking. Guests can still order the popular Angus beef and buttermilk chicken burgers, while the expanded offering includes fire-kissed lamb shish, herb-marinated chicken thighs and traditional Albanian qofte, alongside small plates such as dynamite tempura prawns and hot honey mac ’n’ cheese croquettes. The kitchen is fully Halal-certified and offers a solid range of vegetarian and vegan choices.

Customer feedback consistently highlights the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, attentive staff and the convenience of later opening hours that make it a natural spot for casual catch-ups or an easy evening out. With cocktail deals, a well-chosen wine list and occasional DJ sets or live music, V’s Lounge brings a touch of polished suburban hospitality to Highams Park without central-London prices.
